St. John's is in Charfield, a parish in Gloucestershire near Wotton-under-Edge and easily accessible from the M5, junction 14.

We have a service every Sunday (except 5th... see below) at 9.30 am, the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month being particularly child- and family-friendly. Refreshments are served after every Sunday service. On every 5th Sunday and during the summer holidays there is a Benefice service in one of the five churches in our benefice... this may not be at St Johns.  (Details on application or see church noticeboard). A short eucharistic service takes place on Wednesdays at 10am.

Occasional services are held in the old parish church of St. James - Carols by candle-light near Christmas, and on a Sunday near St James Day (25th July).
